The Golden Isles Grizzlies strives to provide Southeast Georgia/North Florida a fresh involvement in Adult Minor League Football. Minor League Football has been on the rise with more than 500 unique leagues across the nation.
Our goal is to allow our players to continue the game they love by means of a chance to play on college and professional levels of the sport. Also a chance for volunteering opportunities to give back to the many communities in the area that helped raised/model these players into successful men.

Ever since our inception in 2018, we’ve pride ourselves with the dedication of giving back to our community in a number of ways. Our most notable is through our “2nd Wind Initiative” which focuses on sending our young athletes to school for either a college degree, trade certificate, or GED. We do this through the game of football, which provides our athletes exposure to small colleges and technical schools with the hopes that they will be offered a chance to continue playing the game they love. Our program serves many low-income students with their families due to financial and/or travel limitations. With your support, we are hoping to reach out to many more who may want to join our young but promising program. If our young student athletes are not looked at through their local high schools, this is one of the rare chances they have to put them on the right track. These experiences are essential to helping our team succeed on the field as well in our league & conference in the Universal Football League (UFL), an adult minor developmental league based out of the State of Florida.
UNIVERSAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE
The Universal Football League (UFL) is an organized Adult Amateur Minor League level in the sport of American football. The UFL is dedicated to the promotion and advancement of Adult Amateur Minor League American football throughout the Great State of Florida & now Southeast Georgia and throughout the entire nation. Our member teams have roster players that consist primarily of "College-Eligible" young men, all of whom are unpaid, and use our league as a means to reach their college or professional dreams.
Although we have a league Commissioner and President to manage the day-to-day operations of the UFL. What makes the UFL different from other leagues is the concept of "member management." Each member team has a voice (Team President, or designee) by exercising their voter privilege rights as a member of our Board of Governors in the selecting of new league members, setting, amending, or deleted league rules, membership deadlines, the annual league budget, and the annual Championship Weekend site.
